Town of Leland Streets Resurfacing 2021-2022

Construction crews are out on West Gate Drive finishing the asphalt repairs this morning and will be moving to the commercial section of Grandiflora Drive to start the asphalt repairs on that stretch of roadway.  Traffic will be diverted to one-lane at times.  Residents should expect delays and use caution when driving in the areas.  Areas that have been milled will be a rough ride until all repairs can be paid and the final layer of asphalt can be put down.  Crews will be filling any big potholes that have formed from the heavy rains last week.

The contractor is finishing milling along West Gate Drive today and then will focus on the full depth asphalt repairs along that same stretch of roadway.  Traffic will be diverted to one-lane at times. Residents should expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.

Construction crews are out on Grandiflora Drive this morning milling the commercial section and portion of the residential street near Cumbertree Court in Magnolia Greens.  Once crews finish up on Grandiflora Drive, crews will move over to West Gate Drive.  Traffic will be diverted to one-lane at times.  Resident should expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.

Milling continues on Olde Waterford Way near the commercial section of Waterford and Hwy 17.  Traffic will be diverted to one-lane and directed through the commercial section as needed.  Once this section of roadway is complete, crews will move to Grandiflora Drive near the commercial section of Magnolia Greens.  Residents should expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.

Construction continues throughout Waterford today.  The contractor will be milling near the Waterford sign and heading toward Highway 17 this morning.  They will have traffic diverted to one-lane at times and will direct traffic through the commercial areas as needed.  The contractor will then move to Palm Ridge Drive and Woodwind Drive West this afternoon.  Residents should expect delays and rerouting of traffic near the commercial section of Waterford.

The contractor will restart milling operations on Thursday, September 22, 2022.  Construction will commence along Pine Harvest Drive to mill the entrances to the Waterford residential streets and move toward the traffic circle at the Waterford clubhouse and Royal Palm Court.  Residents should expect delays and rerouting of traffic near the traffic circle.

The contractor is electing to pause milling operations until they can get a bigger milling machine onsite. A bigger milling machine will allow the contractor to be more efficient and speed up the construction along the roadway.   Construction will be on hold until tentatively Monday, September 19, 2022.  Residents should use caution when driving in the areas that have been milled

The contractor is milling Bentgreen Drive in Magnolia Greens and has the front portion of Bentgreen Drive closed off.  Residents are advised to use Morning View Way to access the clubhouse.  Once Bentgreen Drive is complete, the contractor will head back along Pine Harvest Drive to the mill the half circles to the residential streets in Waterford.  Residents should expect delays over the next several days and use caution when driving in the area.

The contractor has begun milling on Bentgreen Drive in Magnolia Greens and Pine Harvest Drive in Waterford.  They will continue along Pine Harvest Drive around the Traffic Circle at the Waterford Clubhouse and come back toward Magnolia Greens.  Residents should expect delays over the next several days and use caution when driving in the area.

The contractor is mobilizing equipment today and will be out marking utilities in the vicinity of Bentgreen Drive in Magnolia Greens and Pine Harvest Drive in Waterford.  Please use caution when driving in the area.
