Open Studios

The PRCR Open Studio times can be used by any PRCR participant registered in a current 6-week program (included in registration fee). Open Studio Day passes can be purchased ($10) by any former PRCR participant who has taken a 6-week program within the last year. To view open studio times, click the buttons listed in the studio descriptions below. Times listed are when participants are allowed in the studios for open studio. Leland Cultural Arts Center Studios

Studio 1
Featuring a wide, spacious room with tons of natural lighting, 
Studio 1 has 11 floor easels, a sink, and standard tables and chairs. 
This studio holds programs from painting and drawing to environmental 
education as well as vendor space for markets throughout the year.

Studio 2
Studio 2 hosts a variety of different style programs ranging from 
basket weaving, environmental education, fibers, and stained glass. 
The studio is equipped with large worktables and all equipment needed 
for stained glass.

Studio 3
Studio 3 contains equipment and tools to support ceramic programs 
and practicing learned skills. There are two sinks, two Brent CXC wheels, 
3 Shimpo VL Whisper Wheels, and a standing wheel, glazes that are mixed 
in-house, and lots of smaller tools available for use. Generous workspace 
is available for the novice or advanced potter, and storage lockers are 
available for rent.

Studio 4
Studio 4 is primarily a ceramic program space with 13 tables, 
9 Brent CXC wheels, a wedging table, slab roller, extruder, small tools, 
a sink, and a variety of glazes that are mixed in-house. Generous 
workspace is available for novice or advanced students, and storage 
lockers are available for rent.

Studio 5
Featuring a Marley sprung floor, full-length wall mirrors, and ballet barre, 
the Studio 5 hosts several dance and health/wellness programs. Its wide, 
spacious interior allows for plenty of movement and has a full stereo 
system for any audio needs.
