
A project to repair existing streets and infrastructure within the Lanvale Forest subdivision. The scope of the project includes repairs to existing asphalt, stormwater catch basins, sidewalks, curb and gutter, and replacing existing curb ramps with ADA compliant curb ramps.

Construction is scheduled to begin on Sept. 28. The contractor will be bringing in equipment and starting work to repair the damaged sidewalks and curbs, repair existing curb ramps, and install new ADA compliant truncated domes. Construction to complete all repairs to the streets and put a new layer of asphalt down is expected to take 90 days.
In preparation for the contractor to start construction on the project, the Town of Leland will be spraying for weeds over the next couple weeks.
Town Council approved the bid and selection of Barnhill Contracting Company as the construction contractor on the project.
Final plans and bid documents are complete. Project is being advertised for construction bids. Bid closing is slated for 3 p.m. on Aug. 6.
