Due to the colder temperatures today, the installation of the Yield Ahead striping at the Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard roundabout has been pushed to Jan. 19 and 20. Work to install the striping will take two days to complete and will require lane closures while crews work in the travel lane. Vehicles will be directed around the area that crews will be in. Please use caution when driving in the area.

The contractor has completed the construction of the single-lane roundabout at Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard and the intersection is open to traffic. Town staff is working with the engineer to close out the project.
The Town of Leland will be installing a solid yellow stripe around the concrete island for the single-lane roundabout at Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard. This will aid in the visibility of the island. Crews will be out Nov. 2. Work should take a few hours to complete, and the roundabout will remain open to traffic. Please use caution when driving in the area.
Town staff conducted the final walk-through of the project with the engineer and contractor. Final adjustments and punch list items will be completed Oct. 1 and 4. The Brunswick Forest Wellness Center entrance will be opened later this afternoon. Town staff will continue to monitor the area.
Striping along Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard is complete. The contractor will finish installing truncated domes at the roundabout and finish any remaining items on Oct. 1. The Brunswick Forest Wellness Center entrance closest to the tennis courts will remain closed until the contractor has completed all work.
The single-lane roundabout at Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard has been constructed and is open to traffic. The single-lane roundabout will allow vehicles to keep moving, reduce queuing on Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard, as well as improve the overall pedestrian safety of the intersection. Double yellow striping on Low Country Boulevard is complete. The striping contractor will be back out on Sept. 27 and 28 to finish the striping on Brunswick Forest Parkway to include center line, crosswalks and stop bars to the residential streets, and complete arrows and striped areas along the corridor. Please continue to use caution when driving in the area.
The weather has cleared and the striping contractor plans to be out striping Sept. 24 and 25. The contractor will be restriping Brunswick Forest Parkway and Low Country Boulevard to include center line stripes, stop bars, and crosswalks. The contractor will also be striping and installing curb markings at the roundabout. Work will require one lane to be closed with flagging for the duration and will move down the road while the paint truck is rolling through. Residents should expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.
