Explore the cutting edge of life sciences and medical technology at the inaugural Leland Life Science and Medical Technology Summit, where innovation meets discovery on the North Carolina coast. The summit will be held on April 4 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way.
This event is for professionals, researchers, students, and anyone interested in connecting with and hearing from industry leaders and researchers on the cutting edge of the life science and medical technology industries.
Attendees will be able to network and collaborate with professionals from across the state and learn more about emerging technologies directly from those on the front lines. They will also be able to connect with local, county, and state representatives to hear about support available to companies in these target industries to start, grow, and transform their businesses.
“Our goal with this summit is to facilitate a dynamic gathering of brilliant minds, industry leaders, and pioneers in life sciences and create a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the exploration of groundbreaking advancements,” Economic and Community Development Director Barnes Sutton said. “Leland is in a pivotal time of transition and positioned to take advantage of evolving innovative economic opportunities. We look forward to capitalizing on that momentum with our first Leland Life Science and Medical Technology Summit.”
The summit will include panels throughout the day featuring renowned experts shaping the future of life sciences, networking opportunities, and a trade show to display the latest technologies, products, and services from leading life science companies.
