Construction on the Olde Waterford Way Extension project is underway.
Crews started working on the project in September and are expected to finish in the next few months.
This project will extend Olde Waterford Way from Palm Ridge Drive to Olde Regent Way. It includes the installation of approximately 800 feet of new road, curb and gutter, stormwater infrastructure, sidewalks, and street lights. Once completed, this road extension will alleviate traffic congestion along existing Olde Waterford Way and better serve the developing areas within Waterford.
The contractor is starting by backfilling the pond. Stormwater infrastructure will then be placed prior to beginning above-ground work. After the roadway and sidewalk are completed, street lights will be installed.
