The Town of Leland’s Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department is gearing up for an exciting spring and summer season with a variety of programs, workshops, private lessons, and events. To kick off the season, the Town will host its biannual Open House on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way.
Open House provides an opportunity to learn about new and engaging programs like printmaking, paddleboarding, Teens' Night Out, and silent disco. There will be a variety of hands-on demonstrations throughout the day, featuring activities like wire-wrapped rings, pinch pot animals, crochet, Pilates, and swing dancing. Youth-focused demonstrations led by experienced instructors will ensure there are activities for children as well.
This event is designed to give the community a chance to meet instructors, ask questions, and explore programs in greater detail before registering. Brighter Days Coffee will be available for purchase during the event.
Registration for all spring and summer programs, workshops, and events will open in person and online starting Feb. 1 at 9 a.m. For more details on registration, visit the Town website. Check out the Cape Activity Guide for detailed information about all upcoming programs and events.
