To resurface nine streets within the Town limits to include Olde Waterford Way, a portion of Woodwind Drive, Palm Ridge Drive, Old Village Circle, Royal Palm Way, a portion of Pine Harvest Drive, Bentgreen Drive, West Gate Drive, the intersection at New Pointe Boulevard, and the commercial section of Grandiflora Drive. The scope of the project includes milling, full depth patches as needed, and asphalt overlay of those nine streets.

Construction crews are out working on the installation of a new sidewalk along Pine Harvest Drive. Crews will be forming up the new sidewalk and concrete trucks will be in the area tomorrow, November 16, 2022. Work will take several weeks to complete. Traffic will be diverted to one-lane as needed. Residents should expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.
Construction crews will be out on West Gate Drive on Monday, November 14, 2022, moving the storm drain drop inlets from in the middle of the road to the curb line. Work will take several days to complete. Traffic will be diverted to one-lane and directed through the commercial section as needed. The Town plans to have a contractor out this Monday, November 7, 2022, to begin work on the installation of a new sidewalk along Pine Harvest Drive and demo the existing sidewalk. Work will take several weeks to complete. Traffic will be diverted to one-lane as needed. Residents should expect delays and use caution when driving in the area.
Construction is on hold until the storm drain boxes for West Gate Drive are delivered. Once these boxes are delivered, the contractor will relocate the two storm drains outside of the roadway and realign the curb along West Gate Drive, then the final asphalt can be placed down and striping along all roads can be completed. Residents should continue to use caution while driving in areas where the final asphalt has not been put down.
