    • Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System qualifies employees for Law Enforcement Officer retirement.
    • Unreduced service retirement benefit after officers reach age 55 and complete five years of creditable service; or complete 30 years of creditable service at any age.
    • Reduced retirement benefit after they reach age 50 and complete 15 years of creditable service.
