The Town of Leland invites the community to Bluegrass, Bowls & Baskets on Friday, Oct. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. This free event will feature live music from Masonboro Sound, an art market, and a chili competition hosted by the Town’s Public Safety departments.
The chili cook-off will feature original recipes by members of Leland Fire/Rescue and the Leland Police Department. Attendees can cast their vote for their favorite chili by donating canned goods. All donations will be given to Manna Ministries to benefit area families in need.
