“As the Town continues growing rapidly, it’s important that our staffing and services rise to meet the community’s growing needs,” Mayor Brenda Bozeman said. “Leland is a wonderful place to call home, and the goals prioritized in this budget will ensure that it continues to be for years to come.”
Town staff and Town Council have been working since last fall to put together a budget. Taking into account the external effects of the economy, the needs identified for our community, and the desire to work on projects, the budget represents a significant amount of careful consideration in order for the Town to fulfill its obligations to residents, meet established goals, and remain fiscally healthy.
