Join the Town of Leland for Eggspedition on Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northwest District Park, located at 1937 Andrew Jackson Highway. This year’s event will feature egg hunts, visits with the Bunny, community booths, giveaways, and prizes.
Egg hunts will be divided into the following age groups: 1-2, 3-4, 5-7, and 8-10 years old. The hunts will take place every 45 minutes starting at 10 a.m. and continuing until 12:15 p.m. Eggsplorer Steve E. Bunny will be hopping through the park, ready for photos with attendees, so don’t forget your camera.
Eggspedition will also feature a touch-a-truck event and activities hosted by various community organizations, including Leland Fire/Rescue, Leland Police Department, Brunswick County Girl Scouts, Leland Area Rotary Club, Passanante’s Home Food Service, Southern Coast Nannies LLC, Storybook World Travel, Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington, and the North Brunswick High School Key Club.
