The Town of Leland is actively addressing the increased mosquito population caused by Tropical Storm Debby. Staff is operating mosquito control trucks on Town-owned streets during the early morning and late evening hours on weekdays.
Staff will continue monitoring and treating the mosquito population until it is under control. Please note this service is weather-dependent and will only proceed if conditions are favorable.
