Youth-Exploring African American Culture Through Collage Art

Through this workshop we will explore both the themes and the work of historic and contemporary African American Collage artists. We will learn from their techniques on how to create unique and powerful visuals using elements from everyday life. This will include elements such as found materials, photographs, type, and so much more to create your very own masterpieces. Please bring any of your favorite materials to use as well!
