The Town of Leland has been awarded funding through the North Carolina Resilient Coastal Communities Program (RCCP) to survey and design a grading plan to improve the frequent flooding of Mallory Creek Drive.

Unfortunately, the Town of Leland was not selected for the Phase 4 Grant Funding through the North Carolina Resilient Coastal Communities Program. The Town will look into using budgeted operational funds to complete the drianage improvements along Mallory Creek Drive.
The Town hopes to apply for RCCP Phase 4 funding to construct the roadside swales, which is anticipated to be released in April/May 2023.
The engineer has completed the design of the drainage plan for the project area.
The engineer has completed a survey of the project area.
The Town has brought onboard CLD Engineering to survey the Mallory Creek Drive Drainage Improvements project.
The Town was selected for RCCP Phase 3 funding.
