The Town of Leland hosts several fun and exciting events throughout the year in Town parks and facilities including the Leland Cultural Arts Center. Volunteers are used in many capacities including setup, parking, greeters, hands-on activities, and more.

The Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department offers programs for all ages throughout the year. Volunteers may assist with regularly scheduled or special one-time workshops for youth through adults in a variety of program areas.

Bluegrass, Bowls & BasketsFri., Oct. 11Bluegrass, Bowls & Baskets will feature an art market alongside live acoustic bluegrass music from Masonboro Sound and a chili cookoff between Leland Police and Leland Fire departments. Guests can vote for their favorite chili with non-perishable food items which will be donated to area families in need. Volunteers roles will include event greeters or assistants for the food drive.Event Volunteer
Trunk or TreatSat., Oct. 26

Our annual Trunk or Treat event is a favorite for area families as well as our businesses and organizations! Volunteers will be able to support event setup, vehicle traffic control, line management, and more. 

Area businesses and community organizations seeking to register as a Trunk or Treat trunk can do so online beginning Aug. 1.
