Residents Invited to Share Feedback on the Integrated Mobility Plan

Three people standing and talking at an Integrated Mobility Plan Workshop

The Town of Leland invites residents to provide their input on the Integrated Mobility Plan (IMP) during a public workshop on Feb. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Town Hall, located at 102 Town Hall Drive. The plan aims to update and consolidate existing transportation plans into a single, comprehensive document that will guide the Town's future transportation network over the next 25 years.

The IMP focuses on creating a community that is easily accessible through various methods, including enhanced trails, sidewalks, roadways, and bike lanes. By analyzing travel demand patterns across Leland’s neighborhoods, the plan identifies necessary updates to improve connectivity. Its goals are closely aligned with the vision outlined in Leland 2045

This marks the second phase of public engagement for the IMP. Feedback gathered from a workshop and online input opportunities last fall played a key role in refining the plan’s vision. The upcoming workshop offers residents an important opportunity to review the progress made so far and share their ideas to help shape the plan’s future direction.

All residents are encouraged to participate and share their perspectives on improving the Town’s transportation network. Those unable to attend the workshop can complete the updated online survey or provide feedback through the public input map
