Explore Exciting New Lineup of Fall and Winter Programs

The Town of Leland Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department is thrilled to announce that registration for fall and winter programs for all ages opens on Aug. 1 at 9 a.m. Participants can register online or in person at the Leland Cultural Arts Center (LCAC), located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. Learn more about registering on the Town website.  

This year, the Town is excited to introduce 50 new programs in areas of art, gardening, health and wellness, and environmental education. Some highlights include guided boat tours, Taylor Swift dance parties for youth, and charcoal pet portraits. Upcoming events include Social Dances, Bluegrass Bowls and Baskets, and Trunk or Treat. Meet instructors and participate in hands on demonstrations at the Open House event on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the LCAC. Attendees can register for all programs and events during the Open House. 

The Town offers more than 500 programs, serving more than 1,800 participants annually. The department averages about 55 events per year.
