TRASH AND DEBRIS DISPOSAL

Convenient sites are for residential waste only. The rates below are for a standard-sized pickup truck. Trucks larger than a standard pickup truck must dispose of waste at the Bolivia Landfill and are subject to the landfill tipping fees. When transporting items in a pick-up truck or trailer, be sure to do so safely! Properly secure items in the truck bed, cover loose material that could fly out, and use a red flag on items that extend beyond the truck bed.
Yard Debris Disposal
The Town of Leland offers free yard debris disposal for town residents at Town Hall every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00pm (except holidays). Go to the end of Perry Ave. (beside the library) and there will be a bin for disposal. Limbs must be no larger than four inches in diameter and no longer than four feet. No construction debris is allowed in the containers. |
