Town of Leland holding “Meet the Chief”
reception on Sunday, Aug. 24

LELAND, N.C. – Leland residents will have a chance to meet the town’s new Chief of Police, former Charlotte-Mecklenburg police captain Timothy Jayne, at a reception on Sunday, Aug. 24.  The “meet-the-chief” reception runs from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and will be held in the town council chambers at the Leland Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive in Leland.  The public is invited to attend.
