The Town of Leland is located on the scenic Brunswick River, just five minutes west of the historic river city of Wilmington, North Carolina. Leland, which has emerged as one of the fastest growing municipalities in the Cape Fear region, is home to beautiful championship golf courses, over fifty places of worship, and a vibrant business community. As the Town of Leland grows, we are committed to maintaining our down-home, small-town atmosphere. Leland...Gateway to Brunswick County... a great place to put down roots.
Town Surveys

Community Center Survey
On July 1, 2010 the Town of Leland purchased the former Peak Fitness building at 112 Magnolia Village Way with the intention of using it as a community center. Since the building is currently unfinished, the Town has the unique opportunity to customize the facility to fit our needs. Please go to the following link and fill out a brief survey that will help guide the future use of the facility. Paper copies may be picked up at Leland Town Hall, the Public Library and various other area locations. (Click Here to Fill out Survey)
Age-Friendly Community Survey
Like many other communities, the Town of Leland is seeing a rapid increase in the number of residents who are age 65 or older. The Town wants these residents to be able to live independently and to have the highest quality of life possible. To meet this challenge the Town is preparing a strategic plan that is aimed toward building on our strengths and addressing our weaknesses to make the community more livable for older adults. A livable community for older residents is a livable community for everyone. Please complete the survey below as it will help us build on your experiences to complete the plan. We will keep the community informed about our progress. Thank you for your help.
